I certainly appreciate all the new visitors to the website!
Not sure they're facts but they work...
LOOSE WEIGHT
Riding your Harley burns 200 calories an hour... there are ways to
make up for what you lose. Metric riders burn only 180 calories an
hour. Today's the day. |

Another way to support our troops!
At a recent
bike show I had a conversation with a man about TR magazine. He sends a copy
every month to his nephew serving in Iraq. … When his nephew got back he
expressed to his uncle how that magazine would get passed around to other
soldiers.
Soldiers from
Colorado were excited and show their friends the photos and stories of the
places they recognized in the magazine. That soldier’s magazines were read so
much that the pages would become worn and tattered…. I’m thinking now I wish I
grabbed that man’s name and found out more.
What a great
idea though. I’m doing the same thing… find a soldier.. send him a Thunder
Roads Magazine.. and maybe a bit more. The boys want to know what we are doing
here at home. They want to see us doing things. Let’s show them.

"Life
is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a
pretty and well preserved body,
but
rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and
loudly proclaiming ~
WOW!
What a ride!"

Brutal
Reality
Sadly,
for this country.. liberty is not understood.. it comes with a price that
many people don't want to pay.. such as the world trade center..
terrorist threats and acts... and truly, we have had more to worry about
with our own kooks that live here than the terrorists.

It is impossible to be a realist in a world of

It's impossible to be a realist in a world that
believes in images and survives on denial.

Political correctness is the
greater prejudice to the undermining of an individual.

A lot of times the people that
don't understand what freedom is. There are those that are living in it and haven't
made any payments to know what it is about.

Fear

difference that one needs to tell one apart from the other. |
